Bastam Silver Earrings with Green Agate
Handmade Earrings From Bastam Collection
The pattern of these earrings are inspired by plant images in muqarnases of historical monuments in Bastam. The complex of buildings in Bastam -a historical city at the centre of Iran- is one of the religious and historical complexes in Islamic Iran. Their construction has started in the third century AH. The major part of the ornaments of this historical complex has remained from Seljuk and Ilkhanid era, as brickwork and plasterwork.
The patterns are eye-catching, elegant and artful with significant impact on modern graphic arts. These stunning silver earrings are embroiled while inspired by these patterns to create special Iranian wearable art jewellery.
The top stone parts of the earrings are separated and could be used as chic stud earrings on their own. Therefore, these earrings are two in one!
